Hickory Hills Golf Course is a public 18 hole course that was built in 1971.  We are located in historic Farmland, Indiana, just 10 miles east of Muncie.  The golf course sets in a rural area with a natural environment that allows a person to enjoy the serenity of the outdoors in quiet seclusion.

Hole #1

The first hole is a very playable par 5 to any golfer offering the opportunity for a solid start to your round.  The hole plays 490 yards that crosses over the creek and offers longer players a chance for an eagle opportunity.

Hole #2

This hole is a demanding par 3 that can play anywhere from 145 yards to 210 yards. The small green, along with the creek, a large cottonwood tree and the sand trap offer a challenging start to your round of golf.

Hole #8

The 8th hole plays anywhere from 150-180 yards.  It is a par 3 that carries over water. Your average player can bail to the left to avoid the hazard.

Hole #18

The finishing hole is a 575 yard par 5 where a match can be won or lost, but your Hickory Hills experience is just beginning.  The food and spirits of the 59 Club are just a flip wedge away. . . .

59 Club

After a round of golf you can visit the 59 Club and relax in the snack bar with drinks, food and good friends.  We offer deli sandwiches, hot dogs, polish sausages, brats, soft-drinks, domestic and craft beers. On the weekends we offer breakfast specials and lunch specials including the 59 Club sandwich, steak burgers, brats and nachos.

 JUNIOR GOLF CLINIC

Ed Lockard started the Junior Golf Program at Hickory Hills in 1973.  He remained the director of the program until 2001 when the current course owner, Curt Puckett, took over.  Ed and Curt now run the program together.  Each year there are 20-30 participants.  The general philosophy of the program is to teach the youth the fundamentals of golf, the respect for the game and to have fun in the process.

For more information call (765) 468-6321.

Many outstanding golfers have come through the program and over the years have helped Monroe Central High School develop some outstanding boys' and girls' teams. Through the program many young golfers have remained dedicated to the sport while two former participants have now become golf course owners themselves. One including Curt, the current owner of Hickory Hills, and the other being Ed Lockard Jr., the owner of Sanibel Island Golf Club.
